Here's the report card for show 21.

HSC: Pretty great stories overall but a couple of them were weak. Grade: A-.

Swine Flu Segment: Informative indeed. Ryan's beatboxing made it pretty funny. The level of seriousness was appropriate. Grade: A.

Collab. Writing: The story itself was pretty boring. The interview was well conducted and thoughtful. Grade: B.

Original music: The song is pretty good and the interview was also pretty good. Grade: B.

Film review: Funny, informative, and totally honest. I enjoyed the opinions very much. Grade: A+

Max's Rant: SO. DAMN. TRUE...and if you don't like the fact that I said DAMN, you can !@#$%^&*. The censorship was pretty sad, though. Grade: A

Overall grade: B+. Next time, we can improve on follow up questions for interviews and making it entertaining.

Peace, Love, And All That Jazz.

Max's rant was a great way to end the show. I still prefer the original rant by Max. The barnyard noises were funny, but it took away from his rant. After the barnyard noises Max's says "Wow, How would you even begin to explain that to your kids?”And at that point I go "Explain what? The barnyard sounds?" The sounds were better than a beep, but it lost a little of the power this rant had. As for censorship of so called “inappropriate" movies I don’t see why they should be kept from kids. I don’t think 5 year olds should be sitting down to watch a good episode of horny girl’s gone wild, but keeping a 12 year old of Saving Private Ryan because of the violence is drastic. What do parents to fear from these movies? Are they afraid that their kids might try to act out these graphic scenes? If parents fear that, then they must not have much confidence in themselves to “SPEND TIME” and “TEACH” their kids that it is just a movie. Maybe the problem isn’t with these violent movies, but with parent’s ability to practice the simple parenting skill of communication, and lack of moral values they teach. So I agree with Max. Um...over all the show was great can't wait to make some more.
